Traveling Guide to Australia
I might be accused of being slightly biased to my home country here but Australia is one of the most sought after destinations for many travel lovers. The mixture of stunning landscape, friendly locals and adventure activities to do around every corner is sure to keep any traveller busy.
Australia is a HUGE country and anyone thinking of travelling to here should plan ahead to maximise both their time and travel budget. Don’t think for a minute you can visit the whole country in a one-month long visit.
Popular landmarks to visit in Australia include the Great Barrier Reef in Queensland, Uluru in the outback centre of the Northern Territory, Kakadu National Park close to Darwin, The Twelve Apostles in Victoria and the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains in New South Wales.
Popular things to do in Australia include climbing the Sydney Harbour Bridge, watching an iconic football match (AFL) at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, going for a swim at Bondi Beach or a snorkel over the Great Barrier Reef, game fishing for Marlin in Cairns and hiking the Overland Track in Tasmania.
