Traveling Guide to Egypt

There is no denying that travelling to Egypt is usually centred around making a visit to the Giza Pyramids and with good reason. Along with the selection of Egyptian Pyramids though there are many more ancient and wonderful sites to see right across the country.

Along with the Pyramids of Giza, there are plenty more buildings, sculptures and landmarks to find throughout Egypt. Other famous things to do and see in Egypt include the Abu Simbel temple, Saqqara (the not so talked about Pyramids), Abydos Temple, White Desert, Luxor’s Karnak Temple and the Valley of the Kings and of course the Nile River.

Visiting Egypt for tourists is best done by a well-organised tour as safety and transport in the country is not the most reliable. Tour companies such as G Adventures and TravelTalk are a great option to find cheap yet well-organised tours of Egypt, check out the review of the TravelTalk Tour in Egypt I did. Often these tours will combine trips to the Pyramids of Giza, Valley of the Kings, Abu Simbel temple and also a multi-day cruise along the Nile River.
